I use the B+W 72mm to 77mm step up ring on an older Nikon lens. I have lots of 77mm filters and I don't want to invest in a bunch of new filters. This step up ring does what I need it to do.
The construction is good, no snags or burrs. The finish is smooth and makes putting it on and taking it off easier. The threads are clean cut. I add a drop of anti-seize compound on the threads to prevent the rings from galling just in case.

Does what it supposed to do. No matter how loose I put the Circular Polorizing filter on it will ALWAYS get stuck! Then there isnt enough teeth for the filter wrench to catch on....Read complete review
Does what it supposed to do. No matter how loose I put the Circular Polorizing filter on it will ALWAYS get stuck! Then there isnt enough teeth for the filter wrench to catch on. VERY frusterating and I am just waiting for the day the $150 filter hits the ground while trying to get them apart...good idea but when the filter is damaged then how good of an idea will it be?

I use the B+W 72mm to 77mm step up ring on an older Nikon lens. I have lots of 77mm filters and I don't want to invest in a bunch of new filters. This step up ring does what I need it to do.

I use this ring as a step up for my ND filter. The threads are perfect and it's a solid build. I purchased some generic brand step-up ring and the threads were terrible. This one is worth the few extra bucks.
