Comments about General Brand Vinyl Cable Release with Center Lock - 60":
I got this for a self-portrait assignment I had in my Black and White Photo class. It came in handy when I was trying to take pictures that were more than an arms length away from my camera. In my mind 60"(or 5') seemed a lot longer than in real life, but it definitely gave me some room to play around with different self-portrait ideas. The cable release was pretty self explanatory in terms of how it went on my camera etc. It only took a few minutes of messing around with it and my old school SLR to getting working nicely.

The length is great and its very durable. It's good in the rain if you absolutely have to use it also!

I use the 60" Vinyl Cable Release with Center Lock with my Minolta x-370 SLR camera. It works wonders for when I take long exposures. I love how long it is because I can take pictures of myself without having my hand behind the camera. I also love how it locks and I can leave the shutter open for as long as I want and not have to worry about my hand cramping up from holding the release down. I LOVE IT!!!
