Comments about Kodak EB 135-36 Elite Chrome 100 Color Slide Film (ISO-100):
Once again, another iconic film from Kodak has been discontinued. Depressing really. I've used this film before and am quite pleased with the colour and accuracy of skin tones. It is an easy film to work with and reliable. I would say that I would recommend this film to anyone that is shooting people, or landscapes, or general photography for that matter. However, since it is now discontinued, no point really. Still, there are some other Kodak options out there for slide colour film.

I used the slid film to shoot a project I was working on for school, it worked great. It was easy to use and the lab I had it processed in had no trouble with it. If your are printing tin types it works great.

There is nothing more pleasing and life like then viewing a slide on a screen. What a wonderful way to bring back a memory. Slides, on todays films seem to capture details that you dont have in a color print. As an added bonus, with an inexpensive converter, for a few cents and quickly you can make an excellent print on your home computer from a slide. I love it!

I'm glad this film is still in the catalog. Fine grain; refrigeration not needed. I suspect that it was conceived as a less expensive product for the amateur market. But with Photoshop what difference does it make?

Kodak film has been around since before we were born - it is an icon. I have used tens of thousands of rolls and just as my high school graphic arts teacher said: "Never use cheap film" - this has served me well. I must confess, I use Fuji 35 mm slide film when B&H has it at lower cost, but support the use of home-grown Kodak whenever I can. I do pro-am photography of all my patients and have not made the switch to digital yet; I am so glad that I am not being forced to as they still make this product.

I am a stereo photographer and use this film in my 3D cameras for scenics and for weddings. The colors are brilliant without being garish, skin tones are natural, whites are white, but the overall effect is natural and pleasing.
Someday we will be taking digital stereo, but for now this is the best way to enjoy stereo photography.

I used this film in an old stereo camera. I mounted the film in stereo mounts and used a back lit viewer to view the slides. The color is so vibrant it is amazing. Also very little grain.

I've used this slide film for years and always had great results. The colors are so vibrant. This is an excellent slide film to consider now that Kodachrome is no longer available. I would recommend this product to anyone!

I have been shooting slide film since the mid 1950's - Kodachrome and Ektachrome have always been the winners in my book - and Ektachrome still is - just like apple pie! Ektachrome Elite is one of the best all around E6 films remaining and is priced right. I use it for all general purpose landscape and nature work and I find it makes great scanned-to-silver-based prints, even auto-prints as long as you begin with a properly exposed image. I have begun scanning slide images on a home scanner and find the film very receptive to a good file without a lot of hassle.
I have sold as many as 25 travel images to a single major annual travel publication. Recently I sold 18-30x40 framed 20x30 images (professionally scanned and printed) locally as office decor. Ninety percent of these images were shot on 35mm Elite Chrome! Long-live Ektachrome!

This is a great film for just about any occasion. I took this film to the lake one day and got great photos back. I used this for portraits of my family one day and got great photos back. I used this for sports and got great photos back. This is a great film wether your inside a studio or out in the city. Not only is it very sharp and has fine grain, but it also gives very clear slides. I would highly recommend this to a shooter who has his camera wherever he goes.

I used this for a day trip to Niagara Falls and got great results. Everything was sharp and the colors were rich.
I have always liked the Kodak slide films because of the D-Max. My blackest areas are black, not a dark red or blue like some other films. It really gives the best contrast.
I can't think of any negatives.
Comments about Kodak EB 135-36 Elite Chrome 100 Color Slide Film (ISO-100):
I use the product in a film camera. It's easy to view the slides in the vinyl pages with an 8x magnifier you can tel slight differece in quality something you can't do on a 96dpi computer screen.
No longer any inexpensive Kodak mailers.
Comments about Kodak EB 135-36 Elite Chrome 100 Color Slide Film (ISO-100):
I have been using 100 ASA Elite Chrome for approximately seven years. Previously, I used VS or Ektachrome. I am a fine arts photographer and find the color saturation and grain meet all my standards.

I use Elite Chrome 100 for informal portraits, landscapes, and close-ups of flowers. A decent polarizer really makes the colors pop in the last two applications.

Comments about Kodak EB 135-36 Elite Chrome 100 Color Slide Film (ISO-100):
I am a railroad enthusiast and shopped around for a good, basic slide film that is not too pricey.
I shoot more when the skies are filled with fine lighting conditions that make the colors stand out. Myself being a serious amatuer, this is a good starter film, when moving from print to slide films.
