Comments about Delta 1 CS6 JR Camera Stand - consists of: 6' Square Column, Base, Casters, Crossarm - NO Camera Head:
I am using this tri-pod in a studio so its great because its on wheels. Love the up & down arm, but just wish it was smoother up & down movement.
Compared to prices on other tri-o=pods like this? I will modify it to fit my needs. Just needs a tension pulley. over all i love it!

It is definitely very sturdy, maybe even over designed. It is a great stand for the photographer on a budget. We bought it for our newly opening studio and we couldn't be happier. We only wish it had a counterbalance kit to make height adjustments easier.

Comments about Delta 1 CS6 JR Camera Stand - consists of: 6' Square Column, Base, Casters, Crossarm - NO Camera Head:
The stand is well constructed, as stated in the other reviews, but it's pretty bare-bones. Square cut steel with good welds and friction stoppers, but some of the bolt holes didn't line up correctly and the camera arm came pre-assembled incorrectly. I had to take it apart to fix it. The handle mounts for the heads are too short, showing only a couple of treads above the deck. My local hardware store had a longer, stronger bolt which now holds my P3 securely. Otherwise, it's a sold, inexpensive alternative to Manfrotto or Foba stands. If you're on a budget and have some hand tools, it's better than a tripod, but you get what you pay for.

the concept is great the product works as described but is over built. the material used is large diameter it could have been built with 1/2 the size square tubing and still lasted for ever ,as is its bulky

I am a professional photographer in Virginia Beach, Va. I just received this stand and will be using it for various studio work to include portraits and model portfolios. This camera stand is absolutely outstanding in every way! It is truly a VERY professional stand, solid construction, heavy, and will easily hold my 4x5 large format view camera. It assembled in just a few minutes. The only minor flaw, if there is one, are the casters...they are made of plastic, but seem quite strong and rugged, and easily hold the weight of this stand. I don't know why the "Jr" is in the product name, as this stand is a "Senior" stand in my opinion, and for the price, can match up with most of the more expensive stands on the market! If you are looking for a truly professional stand but you're on a budget, I strongly suggest this Camera Stand. You WON'T be dissappointed!!!
