Fits Lumedyne and Quantum Reflectors.
This is a 4-1/2" round honeycomb grid. It provides a beam spread of 20° when mounted on a reflector that accepts grid spots.
Delta provides various sized lighting accessories that will function with your flash heads, at a considerable savings over original name-brand devices. Grids are essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices alter the shape and intensity of the light output from your flash heads. Use of a grid will result in a small circle of light, when it is attached to the front of your light source. The size of the circle of light will be determined by the density of the honeycomb, its thickness, and the distance of the subject.

Comments about Delta 1 Honeycomb Grid, 4.5", 20 Degrees:
The grid came with no instructions concerning attachment to the Quantum. A person must take a pair of plyers and twist the attached clips toward the Quantum reflector. When you do this, the grid will snap on to the reflector.

Comments about Delta 1 Honeycomb Grid, 4.5", 20 Degrees:
Grid spots rock. Who wants to spend $100-300 on a video light when you can get the same effect just attaching a grid to your flash?
I use this grid spot on my Qflash. It gives just the right amount of restriction for shooting people: turning that huge overpowering splash of flash light into a nice 4+ foot circle (depending on how far away the flash is from the subject).
The only thing I dont like about it is it is difficult to attach securely. Actually it's really hard to figure out how to attach it in the first place--I have just been looping the velcro over the reflector. Still not sure if that's right, but it's all I can figure out.
This is great for portraits, esp. indoors when you dont want light to bleed out all over, or outdoors/in low light when you want to illuminate your subject while preserving low light ambience of the room/area. Because of it's special use, this tool is probably best for pros or serious amateurs.
