Remember the Essentials
A speed ring is required and not included with this unit. Remember to get the best type of speed ring for the light you are using. If you plan on using it with multiple lights we recommend the adjustable speed ring.
The Pro Plus Strip Softbox is designed for use with a strobe. With fabric not intended for the heat of a continuous light, the Plus Strip comes standard with a silver interior and a recessed, removable front face, which provides more control of light than a box with a flush front.
The "plus" designation means the front face may be removed. A 1/2 or 1/4 strength fabric could be used instead, for slightly more light transmission and less of a softening effect.
- Suitable for full length set-ups with children, or when a soft edge, or hair-light is needed for a small group of people.
- Required Speed (mounting) Rings are available separately for many manufacturers' strobes.

This is a wonderfull lightbox, the light is soft and creates a very nice effect on studio; but in order to use it with shoe mount Flashes you have to buy a special Speedring, I bought the composite Speed ring, but after 5 months of use the speed ring fracture right in the middle, Chimera told me I must use the adjustable Versi Bracket speed ring 2800OP on this strip lightbank. I strongly recommend this softbox, but if you are lighting with "Shoe Mount Flashes" be careful and buy the right Speed ring.

In Studio or location all the Chimera boxes grids stretchers rings are all balanced to work together. The combinations of use are endless. The color balance is perfect from box to box. They are not the only Soft Box solution just the best. If every day your clients demand excellence I have been using Chimera over 30 years.
