If you need this size and wattage, this bulb is less expensive than the name brand version, but in my opinion, exactly the same. A great way to save a few bucks!

These replacement bulbs are just the thing the doctor ordered. Seriously, the previous Photoflex bulbs lasted quite some time, about 6 years! I needed some replacements and B&H had them cheaper than photoflex!

I just opened up a Boudoir Photography studio, and this is used as my main fill light. It's absolutely fantastic. It's nice and bright, and perfect for my one-subject lighting needs. I can add back up lights if I want, or leave them out for a more dramatic effect. The lamp does radiate a bit of heat, so I have learned to just shoot in cooler clothing and it works out great.
