I use this to pack in lighting equipment when I travel. While there are other more effective pieces from lightware, this one works just fine.
I pack a heavy duty lightstand, medium softbox, tripod and an Alienbees 800 light in this box. Everything is rugged except for the strobe but as long as that is packed in the protective Alienbees case, everything works out fine. With all that in there, room is still available.
Be sure not to pack it to full and balance the weight out because it is over 5 feet long and can become hard to handle very easily. Almost too long but not quite.
