Comments about Smith-Victor Flashlite 110-I 110 Watt/Second Monolight (110VAC):
I got the Flashlight as a fill-in for my two other monos. It exceeded my expectations. Turned out it was small enough to fit in my camera case (had to leave out my second back-up camera), and now it lives there. No, it is not a powerful flash, and the stand/umbrella connection could be heavier duty, but, hey, for the price, you can't beat it. I want a couple more...

Very bright, and easy to use. I had to get the as-15 adapter to use it with the Nikon d80, but works great. Has a nice half bright setting.

Comments about Smith-Victor Flashlite 110-I 110 Watt/Second Monolight (110VAC):
I purchased this light to use in a photo booth with a small softbox. The price was perfect and it works great. I would not use it for regular studio work, but for the job and the price it is perfect. I also like the size and weight. It only has two power levels, but that works ok because it is the only light source and I can meter to it.
