The quality of this brand of fiber paper is very good. It is durable when wet and produces many different shades of gray. The glossy property of the paper brings out richer details of black.

Comments about Ilford Multigrade IV MGF.1K Black & White Variable Contrast Fiber Base Double Weight Glossy Paper 11x14"-10 Sheets:
The number of available B&W printing papers on the market keeps dwindling.... many of the current papers available are from Eastern European countries and some are quite good. The problem is availability; sometimes they are available and sometimes they are not. Serious printers like using a product that they know over and over again.... it becomes an old friend. ILFORD papers have remained constant throughout the changes in their corporate structure over the years. They are well made, consistent, and most of all readily available. SAME AS IT EVER WAS!

Ilford paper is my favorite paper to use. This is a great buy, but if you can afford the 50 pack, it is cheaper per piece of paper.

I've been using Ilford papers for a couple years for darkroom printing and its great. It is thick and does not tear easily at all, and stays good for a long time.

This was my first time using fiber paper. I chose this paper because it had a good balance of tone and I like the glossy look. The tones are exactally what I was looking for. Easy to process and great to look at.
