I bought these clips to dry 4x5 negatives. They clip mechanism works great, holding the negatives firmly without marking them (I find many second hand clips have exhausted springs and do not properly hold onto the negative). I would mention however that the slots cut into the ring from which the clip hangs varies for each clip and none of the twenty that I bought look like the one in the picture. Whereas the slot in the pictured clip is narrow and positioned near the base of the ring, the slots in the clips that I received are much wider, and sometimes so wide that the clip tends to fall off if moved. While not a deal breaker, it can be a pain and it is something I would have liked to have known before I made my purchase.

Comments about Delta 1 Stainless Steel Film Clips (Pack of 10):
Inexpensive. Does what it is intended. Compact on a rack. Films stay on well. I might not want to use this on long 35mm films since if you use a wiper after photo-flo dip you might pull the film off the clip. I might prefer a small pin on the tip to perforate the film giving more security.

Does what a clip should, holds well, doesn't slip.
Rings were razor sharp out of the box hence the 4 star rating but nothing a quick file couldn't fix

I use these clips to hang dry 5x7 sheet film. They work great, no problems! I have no idea why anyone would pay almost seventy bucks for clips from Jobo, when you can buy these for 1/10th the price!

currently using the clips with 120 and 4x5 film and have had no issues. About to start using them with 8.5x6.5 and larger, should easily hold the weight

Nice clips. Strong and well made overall. I like the broken ring design but I did have to file the sharp edges of the cutout as they were needle-sharp out of the bag. Otherwise they would get 5 stars
