The flag is made of sturdy aluminum stock and the flex line will stay exactly where you want it. The odd thing is that the flex line projects at a 90 degree angle from the flag. It doesn't have the 'L' segment that some other flags incorporate. This means you're using a few links just to curve the flex in the direction you need to go. It also means the flex line won't coil flat against the flag for storage. Also, I would prefer the mount was on the long side rather than the short side, like my other black (plastic) flag. The clamp is strong and for the price will last many years, but in my opinion better designs are available for a similar price.

The clamp is sturdy and the arm bends every which way. The only drawback to this thing is it doesn't come in larger sizes. Great for sticking on a tripod, c-stand or car door.
