This is a nice piece of photography equipment. Light pattern is wide for 2 people shots. Light can go lower than with standard reflector. Of course bottom of the light is brighter, but I working with rosco gels, and I double bottom portion if the gels. This gives me nice same color and I don't have to use barn door. When your working space is limited, this is better solution than grid and light stand on a side.

Works great to separate the model from the background or get high key lighting on a white background. It works better than a light in a softbox when you need to keep lighting to a minimum. It is easy to hide behind the subject.

gives a nice oval pool of light. note that there is almost no gradual drop-off between the illuminated area and the non illuminated area: this can be a pro or con depending upon what you want to do.
