Hilbert College Communication Studies has used this Butterfly for its video program now for two years. It is a sturdy design when taken care of. People used to setting up heavy pipe based butterflies should be aware that you need to treat this one with respect, it has a tendency to kite in the wind, and you lack the mass of regular pipework to hold it to earth. We use heavy combo stands, sandbags, and guys to keep this one in place. One the bright side four students can loft one of these with minimal training in 15 minutes. As an educational tool this is an excellent device, but it is likewise an excellent addition to a small grip truck were mass and size are important considerations.
