This was originally built to hold tree branches and it does just that. Ask your crew to hold a tree branch full of leaves for a thirty minute scene and be prepared to have knives thrown at you. That is if his/her arms still work after holding up a tree branch that long.
Pop this guy in a grip head and walk away. Just don't forget to bag your stand before you do.

If you want an actual C-Boom, [...] makes a good one. This thing is unnecessarily difficult to use and is not conducive to working quickly. It is a very inefficient design, and I would strongly advise against this product.
