The Kaiser 80mm Plastic Lens Cap is a push-on style cap. It is designed to fit any camera or enlarger lens, binocular, tele-, micro-, or spotting scope lens. To use one, measure the outside diameter of your lens barrel. Order the cap size that is 1 or 2 millimeters larger than the size measured. The cap should fit snuggly but not so tight that it is hard to remove.

In spite of B&H recommendations I would suggest to use this 80mm lens cap for B&W SCHNEIDER Slim 77mm filters. The outside diameter of those 77mm filters is exactly D=80mm. However this Kaiser Push On cap perfectly fits the filter and stays firm. I always had troubles with B&W Push On Slim Lens Caps, because they keep failing off the lens every time I take it from the back pack. Following the B&H recommendations at first I purchased SCHNEIDER 81.5MM Slip-On Lens Cap. 81.5mm cap also holds firm on 77mm Slim filter, but not as well as KAISER 80mm Push-On Lens Cap. So I would recommend to everyone to purchase KAISER 80mm caps for their B&W SCHNEIDER Slim 77mm filters!

I got this to use with my 77mm wide angle filter, (there are no threads on this filter to keep the regular cover) The other reviews said it fit snug and others recomended it. well in this case they were wrong. to fit without falling off, it needs to be 78mm maybe 79mm but the 80mm dont work.

I bought this cap to use with my zooms when I put on slim circular polarizers (can't fit original cap). Cheap, good material, fits as promised.

I admit I'm a little nervous putting it on without looking/double-checking. But I've hiked miles with it and it stays on.

Comments about Kaiser 80mm Push-On Lens Cap:
this product should take NAB by storm, the ingenuity, the craftsmanship, the vision embodied in design. someday we'll all look back as a society and wonder how we ever got by before this was invented.
it pushes on and caps the lens, it's a freaking lens cap. it does stay on though, which not all caps do so there's that.

Comments about Kaiser 80mm Push-On Lens Cap:
I bought this cap because when you use slim filters (required for wide angle lenses) don't have enough of a lip for standard lens caps to attach too. This cap sits over the filter and lens. I tried it with slim and regular filters and it does the trick every time. I hesitated to buy this brnad as BH sells another make which is cheaper, but people commented that the other cap fell off. Kaiser's has enough of a ring that it stays put. I am glad I paid the extra $2 because this works well. I highly recommend.

These push on caps fit perfectly as replacements for my misplaced Singh Ray filter caps... and a bargain to boot.

Comments about Kaiser 80mm Push-On Lens Cap:
Conventional lense cap won't work on Canon 10-22mm if UV filter installed. This one is a perfect fit. Also works with hood installed.

Comments about Kaiser 80mm Push-On Lens Cap:
I have a low-profile filter on my Sigma 10-20mm, to avoid vignetting. I can't use a normal lens cap that grabs the threads, because there aren't any. The push-on lens cap that came with the filter is too big and won't stay on. This one does. Huzzah!

Sony does not make lens caps that fit the filters they sell for their bridge cameras. Tried several different makes and sizes to find one, and this one fits absolutely perfectly.

Comments about Kaiser 80mm Push-On Lens Cap:
I use this on the 77mm Canon 10-22mm wide angle lens with a slim filter on it. You want the cap a few millimeters bigger so it will fit over the lens. It's a nice snug fit! The cap fits better than the B+W cap.
