No more unthreading of filters to permit attaching snap-on lens caps to the lens proper; simply press the semi-rigid plastic cap onto the outsized filter and stow the entire assembly for rapid ready-to-go retrieval as needed.

Fit is tight and secure and the cap goes with the filter when the filter is no longer mounted on the lens.

Cost is a little steep for a lightweight polyethylene molded article but it does the job and permits fast changeovers without any risk of scratching of optics.

Using this cap means that while the lens is in use, the lens hood can remain on the lens itself and the cap will provide an easy protective cover without having to take off the hood.
