This Aquatica 8" Dome Port is ideally suited for wide-angle lenses when used in Aquatica housings. The dome is acrylic. This material is the same density as saltwater. So minor scratches will get filled in by the water and will not show.

Comments about Aquatica 8" Dome Port:
Light is key in U/W photography, and so is light and simple. This is great because it is small but has ample light coming in.
Great with the 16-35mm

Comments about Aquatica 8" Dome Port:
had to get this one since there is no 9.25 glass to be found on earth thanks to a manufacturer supply shortage. Its an ok dome...not very sharp images and it kicks back a reflection of the lens itself on some of the images. Beads up alot, but i guess there is some type of solvent that can help with that. I don't care if it scratches because i can buy three of these for the price of one glass dome(which is extinct i guess)

Comments about Aquatica 8" Dome Port:
Excellent port for macro and wide lenses.
Irritated it doesn't come with shade protector as standard. That is extra.

Comments about Aquatica 8" Dome Port:
I have not actually been able to get into the water yet to go diving but this port is amazing! It fits my wide-angle perfectly.
The only thing that I could complain about is the fact that it is a bit difficult to get it into the housing. You pretty much have to push with all your might to get it to go in correctly although without that force, it would probably leak so depends on how you look at it.

This works great with my Canon 5D and 15 mm Fisheye.

Comments about Aquatica 8" Dome Port:
Strongly built. The possibility of scratching the acrylic scares me, but this is a much cheaper alternative than the glass port. I think it should include the shade and port cap, but it doesn't.
