This adapter turns one light stand into a device that can utilize two light housings on one stand. It works very nicely when matched up with two Mini Cools an umbrella mount and 36" umbrella; therefore doubling the light intensity in either a soft light umbrella situation or just doubling a key light using two lights such as the Mini Cool.
