The Leica R8/R9 Ever Ready Case is a black Nappa leather case made to carry a Leica R8 or R9 35mm SLR camera with a lens and motor winder attached. It has a pocket at the front for small accessory items such as film or batteries. The case has an adjustable carrying strap with an anti-slip guard, and a hip strap for additional security when cycling, climbing, etc.
The Ever Ready case will carry the camera with one of the following lenses; 19mm /2.8 or 24mm f/2.8 without fitted sunshade, 28mm f/2.8, 35mm f/1.4, 35mm f/2, 50mm f/1.4, 50mm f/2, 60mm f/2.8, 80mm f/1.4, 90mm f/2, 90mm f/2.8 with pull out sunshade or 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 or 35-70mm f/4 with sunshade in stowed position.
