Elinchrom Flashtube for Style 1200S/RX, Micro Compact Monolights
This is an Elinchrom Flashtube for the Style 1200s, RX and Micro Series flash heads. Replacement of flashtubes for Elinchrom flash head models earlier than Style S involve loosening several screws on the flash head casing, and two screws at the flashtube socket base. Newer models have "plug and play" flashtubes that are easier to replace. With proper handling, these flashtubes may last for tens of thousands of flashes under normal use.

This is a very powerful flashtube. I love the light that it lays on a subject's face.
The construction is a little bit fragile, that's why not the 5 stars. But easy to install though.
Pretty expensive for a flashtube.

Without flashtube a strobe is useless! It is nice to have an extra flashtube packed in your lighting kit for when you need it.
