Another useful light shaper from Elinchrom. It looks like a shower cap and easily slips over your dish to diffuse light. Normally used with a Translucide Deflector. Takes up little storage space when transporting your gear. Enhances the softness of dish light thereby increasing the dish's usefulness, my preference over setting up a time consuming bulky softbox when time and space dictate.

I mainly use my Elinchrom beauty dish without the sock but when I need a little more softness for portraits I use this and it does what its intended to do. I will also use it with the dish for product shots.
