The Fotospeed Cyanotype Kit gives you access to a process that was the first successful non-silver photographic print process, that dates back to 1842.

It's notable blue image color is a result of its origins in Prussian Blue a derivative of iron. It has long been used commercially as "Blueprints."

Cyanotye is an alternative process exposed by Ultra Violet/Sunlight through use of contact negatives to produce a blue image on art paper of your choice
Cyanotype is in a single solution, and is an updated version of the original process. Using Ammonium Ferric Oxalate to give a good blue that does not wash out, this solution is twice as sensitive to UV as the traditional version
Development in water and citric acid can be used to manipulate contrast
All images are made using the contact system, where the image depends on a negative of the appropriate size
Each kit contains chemicals, paper, gloves, glass rods and other ancillary equipment necessary for each process.

Note: requires contact frame or plexiglass (not included)
