It works, covers the lens. It's not quite as firmly attached as I would hope, but it is what it is.

Comments about Canon E-73 Lens Cap for EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye:
I don't use a lens cap on anything, except my 15mm, since to NOT use one would be asking for an expensive scratch.

Comments about Canon E-73 Lens Cap for EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye:
My original lens cap fell off as it was ill fitting. Despite having dropped the lens and bending the edge a little, the new lens cap fits nice and tight. I'm so happy to have my fish-eye lens cap back!!!

Comments about Canon E-73 Lens Cap for EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye:
This lens cap does indeed find it's way off you're 15mm Fisheye with ease!
My solution:
Cut a Small square 1/4" x 1/4" of 3M brand friction tape. Press it on to a tip of the lens hood and cut a little larger square of gaffers tape over the friction tape. This lens cap will now only come off when you take it off!
I lost my original cap about 2 weeks after the date that I purchased it. Purchased this replacement and I've taken my above steps and it's been secure for 4 years now.
Cheers.
Comments about Canon E-73 Lens Cap for EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye:
Tough to rate a simple lens cap right? Wrong, the fisheye lens cap is a poor fitting cap that regularly falls off each time the lens is pulled from the bag and it is just a matter of time before yours bounces into a sewer or lake one day.
I now duct tape an elastic band to it and wrap it around the end cap or side barrel of the lens so this one doesn't go for a roll somewhere I can't retrieve it from.
Unfortunately there are no real alternatives to this product.
