From the AKG Blue Line of modular microphone capsules, the AKG CK94 is a figure-eight pattern capsule with signal characteristics that allow the microphone to be used in a variety of applications. The miniature capsule features a flat wide frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz allowing smooth accurate signal reproduction without coloration.
The figure-eight polar pattern provides identical signal character at both sides of the capsule, while attenuating noise and ambiance at the off-axis (sides) of the microphone. The result allows the microphone to be used for ambiance, vocal, drum overhead capturing or M-S stereo style capturing when used in conjunction with a cardioid microphone. The CK94 is powered with the AKG SE-300B power supply.
