I have the EF-S 60mm and bought this for use with MR-14EX Rignt lite flash. NOT needed. The lens has the proper ring on it.

Needed to use MT-24 EX Macro Twin Lite Ringlite Flash on an EF 35mm f/2.0 lens and discovered this adapter was required. Jury rigged the flash with a couple of rubber bands to hold the flash onto the lens until my B&H ordered 52C Macrolite Adapter arrived. Worked as advertised and was a vast improvement in security and steadiness over my improvised rubber band fix.
Wish it was a bayonet mount rather than a screw mount.
