The black 344 Lens Case from Tamrac is designed for lenses up to 7.25" (18.4 cm) long. Constructed of waterproofed PowerGrid Cordura with a smooth nylon lining, there is a double layer of foam to surround the lens.
The outer layer is dense, closed-cell foam and the inner layer is a soft, open-cell foam. Together, they combine to cradle and protect expensive lenses. A hard plastic bottom beneath the foam protects the lens from shock. The top has full coverage rain flaps, double slider coil zippers and quick-release buckles for fast access and protection. A handle on top, belt loops and "D" rings for accessory shoulder straps provide carrying options and convenience.

Comments about Tamrac 344 Lens Case, Medium (Black):
I love Tamrac products. They are very well made and this case is no exception! We take it with us everywhere! My husband wears it on a web belt and it works like a charm. Cushions and protects our lenses very well! Highly recommend.

Comments about Tamrac 344 Lens Case, Medium (Black):
I use the Tamrac #342 lens case to protect and store the Canon EF 100mm macro f2.8 and Canon EF 28-135 zoom wide angle lens. The same size will also be used to store the Zoom Wide Angle-Telephoto EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Autofocus Lens and the Canon EF 24-105mm f4L IS USM Auto-focus Lens.
The lens case is protective providing cushioning on all sides of the lens while being durable and water repellant. The lenses stored in the Tamrac lens cases survived wind damage to our home in which they were stored during Hurricane Rita in Sept., 2005. I really like and trust this product, which is the reason I'm ordering more.
