I was nervous about ordering the nine foot roll instead of the smaller one, but I'm glad that I did. Now I don't have to worry about moving around when photographing the kiddos. I can easily move around and still have the background paper. Best part about it, if the kiddos get it dirty or trash it, you just cut off the bad part and are left with a perfect roll once again.

Great color- a perfect sky blue. no, not a real sky, but in-your-head-comicbook blue. I use it in an Easter scene.
On another note though:
Savage paper keeps arriving with huge tears- the first 20 inches of my roll was unusable! Why does savage treat their product so poorly in the packaging phase? big strips of masking tape holding it wound? There must be a better way. (another roll arrived with a 40 inch tear)
Also, wouldn't it be awesome if they printed small marks down the edge letting you know how many feet or yards are left on the roll?

This seamless paper was purchased to provide a background for portriats. It is just as advertised. The 107" width makes it wide enough for most applications and it's 12 yard length means that I'm not wedded to it forever. I like the color and it makes a great aura when spot lighted behind the subjects head. The down side, of course, is that it is, well, paper. That means that it is subject to all the hazards of handling a large sheet/roll of paper.

We use this for product phorography, for our catalog photos. My only complaint is that in extreme closeup shots, the "grain" of the paper is visible. Otherwise, it's the same high quality seamless paper as always from Savage.
