Comments about Rodenstock Metal Lens Wrench for Lens Retaining Rings:
Great tool for taking off/on lens from lens boards. Small, light, compact, and fits easily into the pocket of my photo vest. Works great on my metal lens boards. I wish the tines were a wee bit longer for my recessed wooden boards, but it still works better than my previous spanner wrench. My only complaint would be the price.

This is the tool to have if you need it! It only has one purpose but if you have a Copal shutter it is the way to go.

Comments about Rodenstock Metal Lens Wrench for Lens Retaining Rings:
You hardly ever find a photographic tool as simple as this for large format photographers. It works perfectly and is compact enough for the camera bag. Every once in a while your lens will work itself a bit loose from the lenboard & this is perfect for tightening it back up again.

Comments about Rodenstock Metal Lens Wrench for Lens Retaining Rings:
I've been trained by years of photography to expect things like this to cost twice as much. It's just a small piece of metal, but I'm happy with it.

Comments about Rodenstock Metal Lens Wrench for Lens Retaining Rings:
Does what it's supposed to do at a not-terribly-outrageous price.
It might not say Rodenstock on it, though.

Comments about Rodenstock Metal Lens Wrench for Lens Retaining Rings:
Straight out of the bag this wrench functioned as expected. I like the lens mounted with the f-stop and shutter speed set to the side so I can see them when I'm ready to check my settings before I take the photo. Most of the time I see lenses mounted with that info set on the top. Hard to adjust that way.

I was deterred by the cost of adjustable spanner wrenches, but this purpose-built lens wrench does just what it's supposed to, at a very reasonable cost.

Comments about Rodenstock Metal Lens Wrench for Lens Retaining Rings:
This is built specifically for the retaining ring for view camera lenses. For that it is ideal. It is also something easily carried if needed. Oddly, the picture shown here says "Rodenstock" but the one I received is printed "Linos"; it does not matter.

Comments about Rodenstock Metal Lens Wrench for Lens Retaining Rings:
I use the product to swap lenses between my Cambo Legend studio camera and Tachihara field camera. This little wrench fits the lens ring perfectly. It is large enough to be effective but small enough to take up virtually no room in the camera bag.

Comments about Rodenstock Metal Lens Wrench for Lens Retaining Rings:
This wrench enables one to tighten or remove a large format lens from a lensboard without damaging the lens or the lens board. It saves the need and hassle of having a camera shop do this task. If you can thread a nut onto a bolt you can tighten your lens to the lensboard with this tool.
