use this with Pocket wizards plus 2. Works well with vivitar flash (283). Mainly I use this as a backup light source, the cable makes for an inexpensive backup when not using a Cannon Speedlite. Hopefully this cable outlives the original PC connecting wire that came with the PW+2, as that cable has died after less a year of intermittent use. I've only used this cable a handful of time, so you can assume no additional post means its still working for whenever you may be reading this review.

I used this product to connect my Pocket Wizard Plus II to my Vivitar 285HV. The connection on the flash is very tight. I had a little trouble connecting and disconnecting it at first, but I prefer the strong connection.
