The 12 x 16" Mini Softbox is designed for use with a portable (on-camera type) flash. With fabric not intended for the heat of a continuous light, the XX-Small Mini Box with silver interior is ideal for work in small spaces when only slight softening of your flash is desired. Because of its small size and silver lining, the light quality will be more specular with a faster gradation from highlight to shadow areas, than with a white-lined softbox.

The 12x16 size is ultra portable and lightweight.

The smallest, simplest to set up softbox of all Chimera softboxes.
In comparison with larger boxes, this box will give a more spectral quality of light. Shadows will be denser with a faster gradation from highlight to shadow.
A good solution for softening and spreading on-camera flash.
Required Speed (mounting) Rings are available separately for many manufacturers' strobes.
