The 12 x 16" Mini Softbox is designed for use with a portable (on- camera type) flash. With fabric not intended for the heat of a continuous light, the XX-Small Mini Box with white interior is ideal for work in small spaces where softening of your flash is desired. Because of its small size and white lining, the light quality will be softer than with a silver-lined softbox.
The 12x16" (30.5 x 40.6 cm) size is ultra portable and lightweight.

- A good solution for softening and spreading on-camera flash.

I got tired of my 48" umbrellas blowing over in the wind, even with a 12 lb. weighted bag on the bottom of my light stand. No such issues with this softbox. It puts out really good light quality. I will be using this little gem a lot from now on!

I already have the maxi which I use as a key light and have added this as a fill light. I run Nikon SSB-800 speedlights in both and use the creative lighting system in the speedlights and D200s. Works like a charm for portrature and smaller wedding groups.
