Medalight Hot Shoe to PC Adapter
The Medalight Hot Shoe to PC Adapter slips into the camera's hot shoe and has a female PC socket on its side. This allows a camera that does not feature a PC socket but does feature a hot shoe to fire a remote flash or lighting system by connecting a PC (post connection) sync cord to this adapter instead.

Lets me trigger an old Sunpak potato masher from my EOS Rebel XS's shoe. The PC jack sometimes gets in the way of using the viewfinder since it faces backwards, but the adapter can be mounted with the jack on the front, and the top shoe can be easily removed or reversed if it gets in the way.

I ordered 5 for myself and classmates. One of them is a little iffy. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it seems like the safe sync just doesnt connect to the camera properly, or maybe something is loose. But the others work fine and overall it is a good product for a good price.

I was very skeptical of buying this piece, and as I am learning, I wasn't sure this would work however once I got home and put it on my camera, everything worked great. I am very happy with it. I use it to sync my 2 EX100A Impact strobes!
