Ilford Pan F Plus is an extremely fine grain black and white film. It has outstanding resolution, sharpness and edge contrast. These characteristics make it the natural choice where fine detail and lack of grain are more important than film speed.

Comments about Ilford Pan F Plus 135-36 Black & White Negative (Print) Film (ISO-50) - 50 Roll Pack:

IFF (if and only if) you have an extremely sharp lens this film can produce negatives that can be enlarged to 16x20 or even larger with excellent results.

It MUST be handled with great care. It does not have a great deal of latitude or forgivness in exposure and can become far too contrasty very easily. But when handled properly it is as good a 35mm film as there is for extremely fine grain photography. HOWEVER, bear in mind that if you don't have a very sharp lens (which rules out most zooms) the fine grain does you no good for yourlens just won't be sharp enough to make the best use of this film.
