+1.3 ponto).
Esse é um filtro polarizador circular drop-in para as seguintes lentes Nikon: AF-S 300/2.8D, AF-S 500/4D, AF-S 600/4D, AF-S 200-400/4G e a ED 400/2.8S (Nikon Cat. Nº 1499). Este filtro é externamente rotacionável.
Os polarizadores circulares são feitos especificamente para a utilização com câmeras SLR com foco automático (Também funcionarão em sistemas manuais sem problema algum).

I wondered why a piece of glass could cost so much. However, it is constructed in such a way that it can be slid into my 500mm lens and adjusted by rotating a small easy to access dial on the outside. Having the polarizer inside the lens makes so much sense, especially when I am photographing wildlife in damp, bright, contrasty settings such as Yellowstone in the winter. I have yet to get a coat for my lens so I cannot address ease of adjusting the polarizer with it covering the lens.
However, it is a nuisance to exchange it with the UV filter, but the benefits outweigh the inconvenience.

I was excited to get this drop in filter, and use it with a Nikon 500mm F4 VR for my bird photography. Hoping that it would saturate colors in feathers, and foliage. I was a little disappointed with the weak effect. My screw mount cpl filters give a much richer effect on my other lenses.

Comments about Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer (C-PL1L) Glass Filter - Drop-In:
I bought this to go with my 200-400mm zoom. I was particularly interested in using it with bird photography. It is great for any situation with lots of reflected light especially water shots (ducks). I am anxious to use it for snow scenes, etc. The thumb screw works easily and I am quite happy with the product.

Comments about Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer (C-PL1L) Glass Filter - Drop-In:
This circular polarizer works very well, smooth operating and built to last. It's also nice that it fits many of Nikon's big glass for those lucky enough to have 400 & 500MM lenses. I bought this for my newly acquired Nikon 300mm 2.8 VRII. I'm very happy with it, the lens and this filter. Both are highly recommended.
I have only one negitive for Nikon. This unit should come with a better case for secure storage for the polarizer or for the clear glass unit when using this filter. It comes with a clear plastic box with foam insert, which is clearly not meant for daily use. A case is available from Nikon, but has been out of stock for sometime.
Nikon sometimes misses the boat on things like this. They have great gear but often fail to go that extra step.

Comments about Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer (C-PL1L) Glass Filter - Drop-In:
You can "circulate" the lens without removing it from the holder. Shooting in CO, a CP is as valuable as sunscreen.
Not great: removing or installing when you've got a lens coat on your lens. But really no big deal. A minor annoyance at best.
Great: Construction, ease of use, great case for keeping the filter weatherproof. This CP is one one of the best!

Comments about Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer (C-PL1L) Glass Filter - Drop-In:
Essentially equipment that I have mated to my Nikor 200-400 F4 VRII and D3S to shoot outdoor sports (soccer primarily). Game times often don't give the best light and shadows/backgrounds can mess with that perfect shot. Simple fast and adds great color enhancement.

Use on my new 200-400 f/4 zoom. Works great. Darkens skies and takes reflections off glass and water. Easy to use and well built.

Comments about Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer (C-PL1L) Glass Filter - Drop-In:
I know it was expensive but I cannot say how much I love this filter, super easy to use with perfect results. I use this in my 200-400mm and the difference is amazing. I love C-pol filters but I never imagined I would like it this much on my telephoto. Was scared to buy it because of the cost, but am so glad I did, worth every penny. The optical quality is perfect and the built quality is the same. Would give it 6 starts if I could.

Comments about Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer (C-PL1L) Glass Filter - Drop-In:
Great Nikon quality, but really the only choice and very pricey. Works great in my 400mm 2.8 Nikkor and my 300mm 2.8 Nikkor and will also work in the 600mm Nikkor as soon as I can afford to pruchase one. So, it's one polarizer that will fit the rear filter slot of all 3 lenses and that makes the high price a little more acceptable.

Comments about Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer (C-PL1L) Glass Filter - Drop-In:
If you own a high-end Nikon telephoto, you already know this piece, since it is included with the lens and a has a clear filter inserted. This is the same thing, with a polarizer. Quality craftsmanship, but I have to give it 4 stars because the price is just ridiculous. But if you are shooting and want to bring down the glare, you do not have a lot of choice. Paid a lot, but happy with what I received.

I shoot in the tropics and around the coastal regions. A CPL is a must have item. This is an easy to use accessory with a thumb wheel to move the filter ring.

Comments about Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer (C-PL1L) Glass Filter - Drop-In:
It works like a charm, easy to install and to rotate the Polarizer filter. Improves colour saturation and avoids non metallic reflections in the water and foliage. You loose 2 full stops of light, but this is widely known for a Polarizer filter.
Hey Nikon, 4 stars because it is a bit pricey!

I only wish it came with a nice carry case... would it be so hard Nikon?
