This is a Profoto Plastic transport Cap for all Profoto flash heads and for D1 monolights that are equipped with an optional round glass cover (dome).

Fits on Profoto pack heads to protect the tube and glass dome. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with D1 heads fitted with their glass dome. It fits on a D1, but is in contact with the dome.

The Plastic Transport Cap is great. Word of Warning: Be sure to remove the cap before firing up your strobes - It'll melt straight away!
