The Bescor BES-015XLRNC is a high performance Starved Electrolyte (Lead Acid) battery. The BES-015 is memory free and when properly maintained will offer a consistent run time over the life of the battery.

The battery functions as expected and works well.... but the Cover and stitching is of very low quality... after the first day its starting to fall apart...

Stays charged for longer than expected. Using with a video light for still photography. It's heavy, but worth it for a fast solution to occasional low light situations.

I hang it on the tripod, plug my Sony EX1 into it and shoot in the field all day without worrying about power. It recharges quickly and costs a lot less that the Sony battery that only lasts a couple of hours.
