I do many different things with Island Shore Productions on The Outer Banks Of North Carolina where I live and nationally as a freelancer as well. Commercials, Corporate Video, Web Videos...even weddings (lots of money in destination weddings...plus they're almost always on the beach here!). The weddings is where this is really doing well for me. I have a Bescor, over the shoulder - 1 battery, unit that I've been using for the last year. That along with a few backup lights including a lite panel micro. The lite panel is OK but just doesn't have the light that my bescor light and battery does.
Bought this battery belt after using one while shooting for another company and love it! Plenty of power for the entire evening and now I use the single battery as a backup. This one is VERY heavy though! Keep that in mind. That's the only reason for the 4 starts and not 5.
Overall, I like it very much and would buy another if and when I need it. I would suggest you get the better charger when you buy this. The one that shuts off automagically.

I use it for weddings. I have shoulder packs and they work OK but I wanted to try a belt pack. So far it's been fine. A little tricky putting it on as it does weigh a few pounds. Weddings make you be ready for anything that pops up and they usually require light and sometimes the toasts can be long and very long so you need your strong battery with you at all times.

This is a good battery for Bescore lights... i like it because I can go at least 5 hours with this battery. The four pack battery system also allows for even distribution of weight (25 lbs) which helps your back. Still, I wish they could make a long-lasting battery without it being so heavy.

I use this for a 7" lcd screen for my Xl1s and lighting for the same camera. It works great!
It charges in a reasonable amount of time. I like that it is hands free, just put it on and go!
