I use this ring with an Arri 300 along with an extra small chimera box
as a nice soft 3/4 back or rake light.
It's very lightweight and packs nicely in the arri kit.
We don't often think about using a soft box with lights this small
but as the sensitivity of cameras increase it's nice to emulate the soft box look with smaller fixtures.
