Designed for the professional videographer and news crews who need to raise their camera's viewpoint, the unique Spider Pod elevates you and your tripod two feet - with speed and rock solid stability.
With the Spider Pod you can now easily shoot above crowds and capture unobstructed, stable images. Large staging risers are often used as camera platform. However, as you shift your footing, the camera and tripod may shake, producing an unstable video image. Add multiple shooters, or use the camera zoomed in with a long focal length and the problem becomes significantly worse. The Spider Pod eliminates all this by featuring a separate tripod riser and separate standing platform - providing rock solid support.

Comments about TR2SP2 Spider Pod System:
We used to lug around heavy platforms to isolate our cameras from the operators and that got old real fast. This Spider Pod system is a fantastic solution for setting up a quick tripod platform and a standing platform during any shoot! We also purchased a carrying case for the unit so that it packs well in the truck.

Comments about TR2SP2 Spider Pod System:
I used one of these at a high-profile corporate award ceremony. I'm a big guy but I never felt uneasy standing on the platform. Had no trouble figuring out how to set up or dismantle. As someone else mentioned, it's heavy and awkward to carry, even folded up - but that's why it's so sturdy.

This works great for the events we film. Camera op can shift their weight around and not shake the camera. It takes up very little space compared to the hotel risers we used before. Quick setup and breakdown. We have two and love them. Highly recommend getting a case for it. We started without cases and both units started getting scratched and dinged. Now they ride in comfort.
