Strong, precise, and smooth. I use this with a Hensel monolight and a 4-foot Chimera soft box on location. This means repeated set-up and take-down, the hazards of travel, and sometimes rough handling by careless passers-by. Through it all, it has worked flawlessly. I wouldn't change a thing about it.
