I purchased my Cron 35 used without a hood cap, so I got this. It works as it should, a bit pricey for a piece of flexible plastic, but it's Leica and a high price is something one has to expect.

I was worried that the Leica brand lens cover would be extremely over priced. But after finding it, I was impressed by not only the price but the quality as well. Can't go wrong with this one, especially since having a cover prevents the sun from burning a whole through the cloth shutter of the camera, much cheaper than replacing that.

The lens hood cap fits and works as it should. I wish it was cheaper considering it's just one piece of plastic. Oh wait, it does have the "Leica" logo on it...nevermind.

Made of thick durable rubber with a Leica logo stamped on the front. I bought this to keep the dust off my Summicron 4th version Pre-ASPH hood and it works on it as well. The little rubber tabs on the sides are not so snug though and you really have to be careful not to let it pop off, for instance if you brushed against someone's arm or something. It fits enough to stay on, but I don't know that I would keep it on outside a carrying case, since it's so easy to pop off and lose. Oh well, it works for it's intended purpose, and if you really dont want to lose it you can put one of those sticker with a string thing on it. Maybe it fits better on the hood of the ASPH lens hood.
