This Excalibur Flashtube is a great product. I have had my SP-Studio System lights for 4 years and have used them very many times and the flash tube has lasted that long. My other light is still going strong. It is a very good product, I have had no problems with it.
The only downfall is there aren't many places that carry this particular brand, but I was so happy that B&H carried it and was given great customer service....always!

I have owned the SP Systems strobes that go along with these tubes since 2004. I live in El Salvador; and when I moved here one of the flash tubes broke in transit. However, in a photo shoot this afternoon, one of my air cushion stands fell over with the strobe on top. It was about a 8ft fall. The flash tube was undamaged; so I guess they're pretty tough.
Color temp has been consistent... for what it's worth.

I use this flashtube in my Excalibur Light System and I've never had a problem with it. It lasts forever and the only reason I bought this one is to have an extra on hand. I've had my original flashtube for over 3 years and I photograph students all year long.

I like the knob to put the new filament in to the light. I hope it lasts as long as the last one 10 years.

After I broke the original flashtube, I was concerned I would not find a replacement. However, B&H came through again and my light is working perfectly.
