I ordered this damper switch from B&H for my Korg Kronos and it works excellent. Works like a real piano damper pedal, gradual damping for variable sustain (as opposed to an 'off/on' switch). B&H shipped it quick, I got it within a couple of days. Best price I found online! Thanks B&H!

Comments about Korg DS1H - Piano Half Damper Switch:
I have a korg Kronos 88 weighted keyboard. I had a cheap 5 dollar pedal that was very unreliable. Sometimes it would work, sometimes not. Long story short, i decided to spend the money on this korg DS1H -Piano half damper switch. I absolutely love it. It is tough and sensitive. a great tool in molding the sounds i can get out of my Korg kronos. very reliable. It is a bit big, and i can move around a bit, but there are many ways to set it on the floor so it doesn't slide. Velcro comes to mind. Like i use to make my guitar pedal board. The pros out weigh the cons. If you are looking for a pedal you can rely on for consistency and accuracy, this pedal does it. I highly recommend it .

Comments about Korg DS1H - Piano Half Damper Switch:
Very sturdy pedal, good weight for staying put, good feel, and has the half-damper capability that Korg can use. Worth the extra money over inexpensive pedals. One design improvement I would like to see is a jack for attaching the cable instead of a hard-wired cable. Then a simple cable replacement can be done when the original cable flexes to the point of going bad.

Comments about Korg DS1H - Piano Half Damper Switch:
This pedal is well built with some heft to it. You can tell right out of the box that Korg didn't skimp on the construction. The action is good for me, though some may find it a bit springy compared to a real pianos damper or sustain pedals. The look is sleek-no problem there. The half dampering is a little touchy. I'm using it with a TR88 and the actual pedal area that affects the half damper function is a bit narrow. However, performing this trick on a real piano can prove to be similar. This function works,as far as I can tell, with piano patches only. If it's active with other sounds,I can't hear it. The half damper function only works with Korg keyboards that support it. Otherwise it functions as a regular sustain switch. Other manufacturers pedals (Roland,Yamaha),only work with their respective brands as well,so if you have a Korg, and want half dampering for your piano sounds-this is it. My only real beef (and it's minor), is that the cord is a bit short and kinda flimsy feeling. But no problems with it so far. All in all, this is a rock solid pedal that performs as advertised. I would purchase this again if needed.

Comments about Korg DS1H - Piano Half Damper Switch:
Since Korg keyboards like my Triton Extreme require a negative polarity pedal, I finally broke down and bought this one. What a difference! Not only no need to switch the polarity every time I plug in the damper, but this is much better quality than Yamaha's FC-4; heavier, smoother, and better non-skid on the base. Should have done it long ago!

If you're looking for a replacement pedal, this is it. Solid feel that should last a long time. More expensive than some, but you'll notice the difference.

Comments about Korg DS1H - Piano Half Damper Switch:
The product is a potentiometer driven device which allows it to do half damper. I haven't had it long enough to know how long it will last. Seems to be well built, so I suspect it will last a long time. It has a nice long cord which makes it good for stacked equipment. Most other products have short cords, which means they don't reach. [...]If you don't like it they are quick to give an RMA - no questions asked.
