With a Cokin sunset filter, you don't have to wait until evening. You can simulate the colors of the setting sun at any time of day. Cokin sunset filters come in two grades, #'s 197 and 198, with 198 having a greater effect.
Some Cokin color graduated filters are color-toned in one half of the filter and have a smoothly graduated transition into a less densely toned portion. Colored and semi-toned image portions can be brought into the desired position by adjusting the filter in the holder. Most Cokin graduated filters are available in two densities 1 & 2, with #2 being darker. Cokin color graduated filters can also be combined with other Cokin filters.
This filter measures 85 x 85mm and fits the Cokin P series holder.

Comments about Cokin P198 Sunset 2 Resin Filter:
Great Filter that simulates sunrise/sunset. I don't really use it for this purpose, I use it for general color effects. It does work to enhance not-so-colorful sunrises/sets but I would suggest getting the the less intense Sunset filter, this one is much more intense.

Great for when sunsets turn out to be not that good that night. Also, invert the filter to get a different effect for landscapes.
