Great ENG fill spot for talent, used on news and interviews coupled with a panasonic dvx100b good diffusion and professional appearance and useful barndoors. dual voltage capability make this a value deal! [...]Only could be improved if a lighter battery technology could give us the reliability and durablity as lead acid can. Can't find fault with this product for the money.

The charger is too heavy
The light is not too bad, but the charger is too heavy and to be charged it takes like 20 hours. is too much time.

Comments about Bescor VS-65 AC/DC On-Camera Light with Twin Vertical Barndoors:
I use this light for my video gigs in low light. I had to shoot a lounge act in low light the other day. The light worked perfectly. I used the 50watt lamp with the 15lb battery pak. The biggest issue I had with this system was the battery pak. After a three hour gig it got heavy and the cord from it is rather short. The light worked perfectly lighting the lounge with a nicely balanced light. I used it for over 2 1/2 hours and it held up fine.

This light is perfect, weighs next to nothing and is more than bright enough as I am shooting subjects 20 feet max distance. I love the vertical barndoors so you can direct the light where you need it, I recommend this light!

Comments about Bescor VS-65 AC/DC On-Camera Light with Twin Vertical Barndoors:
This is a nice light-weight on-camera light which serves well for most close range front-lighted needs. The 100-watt lamp requires an extension cord which can get in the way, and the 50-watt lamp requires a 12-volt battery which, unfortunately, must be purchased separately. That is my only real complaint.

I am a wedding videographer and this light is a low budget on camera light.
It works great for weddings and if it is to bright its powerful enough to bounce it off the ceiling if you are in close.
