Whenever you have to carry your camera outside your bag, these straps provide the same non-slip security as a Domke Shoulder Strap. They come with the hardware needed to attach to any SLR. QR models feature twist-proof quick release extensions. Swivel clips keep the straps lying flat, untangled and easy to buckle/unbuckle. Adjustable length up to 42" (107cm).
NOTE: This strap is 1.5" wide.

The light rubber detail on the back prevents the camera to slip off my shoulder. Really good product.

Comments about Domke Gripper Camera Strap 1.5" with Swivel Quick Release - Navy:
Your camera will go nowhere except stay around your neck with this strap. Much better than the branded straps that come with the cameras regardless of brand of camera. Stays secure around your neck due to the gripper rubber sewn in. It also stay put hanging by your side over your shoulder while you are walking and the strap doesn't really take up any more room than the stock strap when you put it in the camera bag. One of the most annoying things when carrying the camera around your neck while you are walking is the swinging of the camera. This strap eliminates that. The swivel and quick release make it very functional and never feels that it gets in the way

Love this.
I had a hand strap only, and it was getting difficult to shoot weddings without a long strap like this, especially when handling two cameras. The Canon strap is just too short.
This thing is awesome. It swivels, so no knotting or twisting. Comfortable, durable...Buy it. You won't regret it.

Comments about Domke Gripper Camera Strap 1.5" with Swivel Quick Release - Navy:
A solid, simple product that works. The strap is a good width. It's not too stiff, like some kit straps. It has good traction, so it doesn't slip off your shoulder. The length adjustment is simple. The swivels work well--which is why I bought it--but I have to admit I think they would be more effective if located on the end of the strap, next to the camera, rather than higher up as they are.

Comments about Domke Gripper Camera Strap 1.5" with Swivel Quick Release - Navy:
A good camera with a bad strap is like a good car with bad tires. That´s why I bought this - for a rather heavy camera (D3x), and most of the time I don`t even notice it´s there; just what you want a shoulder strap to be like. And no logo!

Much nicer than the stock Canon strap that came with my Digital Rebel XT. The swivel mechanism is great, no more tangles. Very comfy too.

Comments about Domke Gripper Camera Strap 1.5" with Swivel Quick Release - Navy:
After reading countless reviews of people who were (obsessively?) in love with their Domke strap, I decided to jump in and give it a shot. It's currently attached to my 7D and boy-oh-boy does it make a huge difference. I'll admit, I've been using the Canon supplied strap that everyone knows is less than perfect. I wasn't expecting the Domke to make *this* much difference. It is comfortable, the grippy stuff on the inside of the strap really does work, and the swivels mean no more untangling. Just pull out the camera and get to work.
If I had to have any complaints, it would be that there is no padding. The material is very strong and comfortable for what it is, but if you're going to be wearing this thing all day, it might wear on you.

Comments about Domke Gripper Camera Strap 1.5" with Swivel Quick Release - Navy:
I just wish that the pieces that stay attached to the camera were much shorter. With the "strap" portion removed the remaining pieces are approximately five inches long. With the metal clips dangling off of these five-inch pieces, they tend to get in the way a bit too much.
Also, be advised, that this review is for the 1.5 inch strap and not the narrower one inch strap.

All kidding aside, I purchased two of these straps after the one I was using loosend up and my new Nikon D40 hit the ground. (Its fine thanks to Nikon's reputation for durability).
The strap attaches easilly, its comfortable and light weight, and is easilly adjustable.
Nothing negative to say.

Comments about Domke Gripper Camera Strap 1.5" with Swivel Quick Release - Navy:
The Domke strap is adequately comfortable with inlaid rubber linings to prevent slippage of camera from side to side and enhances the stability of the camera. There are 2 hooks that you can unfasten on both sides in case you have to use the tripod or mono pod in sports shooting or landscape photography. Although there are no media pockets the advantage is that if you get the Optech media holster it can be fastened to the strap and removed if not needed unlike some pockets which are sown into the strap and for some people can be quite uncomfortable if not needed. The construction of Domke straps are very robust and because of this you can carry heavy lenses without fearing that it might snap. I have used it in my film camera - Canon 1V as well as my EOS Digitals like the 400D, 40D and 5D. I think it is the best strap in the market bar none.
