I used this camera in two places- a swimming pool on a bright sunny day, and in Lake Powell, also on a sunny day. The underwater shots in the pool definitely provided the best photos. The lake ones tended to be too murky and dark, despite the fact I was only a couple feet below the surface. However, this camera also takes pretty good above-water shots, and I was pleased with the results. (Especially after running the digital files through a couple quick edits in photoshop) All in all, I'd recommend this camera. But obviously, don't expect professional-quality results.

Comments about Fujifilm Quicksnap 800 Waterproof 35mm Disposable Camera - 27 Exposures:
I used it recently when my wife and I did some snorkeling in the Caribbean for the first time. I liked that it was inexpensive but underwater with a mask on it was very difficult to use the viewfinder or aim it so only a few of the pictures of us snorkeling came out. For shallow scuba diving it might work better or for just taking general pictures of the ocean bottom or in a pool it would be great. I will try the other two cameras we bought in a couple months at Cape Cod and try to aim better. I suggest buying more than one and shoot as many pictures as possible. Unlike digital, there is no preview with film.

Took this camera on our Caribbean cruise to our excursions that included swimming with manta rays and cabe tubing. Just wish it had a flash because some of the places were kind of dark and I'm sure the photos will be as well. Easy to use and looking forward to seeing the finished results.

Comments about Fujifilm Quicksnap 800 Waterproof 35mm Disposable Camera - 27 Exposures:
Bought this waterproof camera to take on a trip to Costa Rica. Did rafting and snorkeling and even though I had a great dry bag didn't want to risk getting my SLR lost in the river. Reviews seemed pretty decent but my experience was not satisfactory. As I should have imagined, at ISO 800 the pictures were very grainy. Just couldn't tolerate the poor resolution. Also, it was supposed to be 27 exposures but in actuality I only got 21 exposures. Bottom line, wouldn't buy again under any circumstances.

I used these in Hawaii while snorkeling and they worked well except a bit hard to keep fish/turtles "in frame"

I went on a whitewater rafting trip and brought it along to take pictures. I got a great picture of my friend getting smacked in the face with water. the photos came out really well except towards the end,the lens got a bit grimy or dusty and the pictures were brownish. But other than that, great camera!

This is an excellent disposable underwater camera. I took 3 to the Carribean and the photos were clear and captured the subject matter well. They have a rubber attachment strap, and will float if dropped. You will be pleased with the photo quality and the clear pictures. Highly recommended.

Took this camera to the Bahamas and got some really great pictures underwater while snorkeling with the fish and sharks. I would definately buy these Fuji camera's again. It was easy to use and for the price you can't go wrong.

Everything you expect from a Fuji camera!
It took pictures underwater, without damage, and it also took pictures above water, that came out crystal clear.
It's a great price for a waterproof disposable, and it lives up to its name.
There is no zoom, so all pictures are taken at 35mm distance. If you're looking for a simple underwater disposable camera, this is the ideal brand.

Comments about Fujifilm Quicksnap 800 Waterproof 35mm Disposable Camera - 27 Exposures:
We bought 3 of them for a trip to Discovery Cove so the kids can take photos underwater.
One of the 3 apparently had a cracked case and most of the photos had water spots on the photos.
Also, not all photos were able to be developed.
Camera 1 - 15 out of 27 photos were developed
Camera 2 - 27 out of 27 photos were developed
Camera 3 - 20 out of 27 photos were developed (and 18 of those had water marks on them).
Not sure of why I didn't get 27 out of 27 on all of them, but just passing on my experience.
Kids had a little trouble with the camera mechanism (kids are 8 & 10), and the advancing mechanism is counter-intuitive (spins counter-clockwise).
Of the photos that did come out, some came out really great and clear.
The cameras only were down at most 3 feet in the water.
We were in a mix of salt-water and fresh-water that day.

I used this camera in my pool at noon so there would be as much light as possible. There is no flash so I had the people look up towards the sun to light their faces. The camera took really good pictures as long as I had plenty of light!
It's tough to look through the viewfinder with a mask on but I got used to it.
I recommend this camera for fun family pictures in a brightly lit, clear pool.
