Comments about Tamrac 517 Tele- Zoom Pak Bag (Gray):
I ordered this up for my 7d and 28-135 lens and it is a bit big for this set up. I want a compact bag for hiking and skiing. I might use this for my 5Dm11 with a bigger lens instead and order up the smaller version for my 7d.

Comments about Tamrac 517 Tele- Zoom Pak Bag (Gray):
This is a classic holster with some simple and well thought out details. Ergonomically perfect and easy to carry either by the lid handle or with the strap.
Smart details include the extra d-rings at the sides. I clip this bag to the front of my backpack straps with four mini-carabiners which makes it ideal for balance, stability, and accessibility while hiking.
More interior room than you might imagine. compartments for extra lens in bottom, pouch inside lid, and a front pouch big enough for a large flash. There are even spots designed specifically for extra CF cards.
Great padding, durable materials, simple and functional.

Comments about Tamrac 517 Tele- Zoom Pak Bag (Gray):
Recently bought a Nikon D700 and Nikon 28-70 f2.8 lens. Went to Paris right after. Although this is an excellent combo, it is heavy and large. Started putting it in a backpack to walk around because it attracted attention of the wrong type. As soon as I got back, I spent some time looking for the right case to walk around with this combo. I think I found it. This pack is not too large, fits the D700/ 28-70 lens combo perfectly, and has just enough room in the front pocket for extra cards and batteries. The red flaps on the memory cards pockets, although simple, are very helpful in telling which card is full. I think this is exactly what I was looking for.

Comments about Tamrac 517 Tele- Zoom Pak Bag (Gray):
I bought this bag for a trip to Disney. I needed a bag that could go with me on all the rides while protecting my camera from damage and water splashes. The bag worked perfectly! It had plenty of room for my Nikon D300s plus lens and extra batteries. I even had room to put my phone, credit cards, room key, and ID. It was the only bag I used all week. I loved that my camera was right there with quick, easy access!

Comments about Tamrac 517 Tele- Zoom Pak Bag (Gray):
I purchased this bag for my 40D with a 100-400 f4.5-5.6L IS USM and it was a perfect match. The only downfall is that you cannot have the lense hood stored on the lense. I keep 2 batteries and the charger in the front pocket. Make sure to get the harness system with this if using large lenses, very uncomfortable strap.
