This Quartz Bank is built by Chimera, and is included in Arri's Softbank Lighting Kits. It is light-weight, vented, and collapsible. It provides soft, directional light, when mounted with the specific speed (mounting) ring for the open-face quartz-halogen, or HMI light fixture you intend to use.
Rated for use with lights of up to 4000 Watts.
The softbox comes with a one stop diffusion cloth standard, and additional 1/2 and 1/4 grid cloths are included. Substituting a half or quarter difusion or taking off the interior baffle will result in more contrast, slightly more light transmission, and less softening of the light.
- Ultra heat-resistant materials and versatility make Quartz Banks the choice for jobs large and small.
- This softbox will work with Hotlights or Flash. If used with Studio Flash, Adapter Rods # 4099 are required.
